CEO & Founder
A visionary leader with over 40 years of experience, Ashraf founded Superhost and grew it into a respected management, development, acquisitions, and financing company. Known for identifying high-potential opportunities while optimizing costs, he has led groundbreaking projects — including the revitalization of Embassy Suites — introducing innovations later adopted by major hotel brands. With an engineering background and roots in major construction, he creates value across residential, commercial, and industrial real estate, turning distressed portfolios into valuable assets through the crashes of 1987, 2001, and 2008.
President
Samir brings over 18 years of experience across commercial real estate and hospitality, with deep expertise in development, investments, and operations. His lifelong passion helped grow Superhost into one of the top development and management companies, attracting exceptional talent along the way. Previously an Investment Banking Analyst at BMO Capital Markets — and earlier at a mezzanine fund and Paramount Lodging Advisors — he honed a sharp financial lens on hotel performance and capital structure. He holds a degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
